2nd Module of third edition in Goethe-Institut’s First Films First training program has been completed successfully.

During four efficient days within the framework of International Cinematographers’ Film Festival Manaki Brothers, FFF participants intensively worked on the visual style of their first feature film projects with cinematographer Christian Berger and production designer Christoph Kanter who collaborated for most of Michael Haneke’s films. The main focus was to find a singular visual language for each project. Yet, they kept working on the scripts with our dear Gabrielle Brunnenmeyer.

On the fifth day, FFF alumni of first two editions joined them for two intensive days of the first reunion of FFF which was full of experience exchange and networking. Reunion ended with a refreshing trip to Ohrid on the last day.

Big big thanks again to our partner International Cinematographers’ Film Festival Manaki Brothers for their great hospitality as usual.

We also gratefully thank Samir Ljuma for the photos of the workshop, masterclasses and the first reunion.
