The Board of Management of the Council of Europe\’s Eurimages Fund has awarded FIRST FILMS FIRST project BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS by Assimina Proedrou with €160.000 for production!

The project is co-production between Greece and Germany and already got support from the Greek Film Centre, ZDF/Arte, and MEDIA – Creative Europe Programme.
Producers are Ioanna Bolomyti and Panos Papahadzis of Argonauts Productions and Markus Halberschmidt of FICTION PARK.
A complex story set at the beautiful Dorjan Lake, BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS explores how an entire society can corrode, be led to crime, to whitewash to submission and collective denial.
