At the Thessaloniki Film Festival\’s Crossroads Co-Production Forum, FFF participant Nazlı Elif Durlu has received the MuSou Award for her project Zuhal.

The award comes with audio post-production services, the composition and production of an original film score and licensing, “for the organic and inventive use of sound in the narrative and the inner world of the main character,” as the jury, consisting of Teresa Hoefert De Turegano, funding advisor at Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (Germany), Dominique Welinski, producer at DW (France), and Konstantinos Kontovrakis, producer at Heretic (Greece), put it.
In her director\’s statement for Zuhal, Durlu says that \”Talkative moments are as important as silences. Throughout the pursuit, Zuhal faces various encounters, each a performance. The film’s tone is based on the absurdity that comes of such human conversations in modern settings.\”
