Thanasis Neofotistos\’ feature-length debut project The Boy With The Light-Blue Eyes is the winner of the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award worth 20K Euro at the Cinelink Co-Production platform of the Sarajevo Film Festival!
“On the Greek folk mountains, there is a remote superstitious village. Peter, a different teenager, lives there with his strict grandmother & his overprotective mother. Through a series of events and lies revealed, curses are unveiled and Peter will sacrifice his light-blue eyes in order to be free.”
The director has developed his project via Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST and the film has already secured production support from the Greek Film Center, ERT, and Creative Europe MEDIA program.
