We are happy to announce that two new tutors, top industry experts, will join us in Sofia: Manfred Schmidt, the former, long-time CEO of German regional fund MDM, and Mira Staleva, Head of Sofia Meetings. Coming back as the lead tutor is our dear Gabriele Brunnenmeyer .

Manfred Schmidt will hold an interactive lecture about co-productions, their advantages and disadvantages, and co-production markets, including strategies for positioning and promoting of the participants\’ projects.

Mira Staleva will speak to the FFF participants about marketing, distribution and festival strategy for their projects.

Finally, Gabriele Brunnenmeyer will yet again spend the most time with our participants, preparing them for the pitching through a lecture and a workshop.

One of our participants will receive a special prize from our friends at the goEast Film Festival in Wiesbaden  that will take them to the pitching at this festival, one of the most important ones dedicated to Eastern European Cinema.
