Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic\’s debut MURINA will have the world premiere in two days, on July 10th, Saturday at 2.30 pm at Theatre Croissette as part of Directors\’ Fortnight of Cannes Film Festival.
MURINA is competing for Camera D\’or Award given to the best debut in Cannes.
For now, we share with you the poster and the synopsis of MURINA which was developed within the second edition of Goethe-Institut\’s FIRST FILMS FIRST program:
\’Tensions rise between restless teenager Julija and her oppressive father Ante when an old family friend arrives at their Croatian island home. As Ante attempts to broker a life-changing deal, their tranquil yet isolated existence leaves Julija wanting more from this influential visitor, who provides a taste of liberation over a weekend laid bare to desire and violence.\’
