We are proud to announce that Dominik Mencej\’s debut RIDERS will have its world premiere in the Main Competition of Sarajevo Film Festival 2022.
RIDERS is the 7th completed film of Goethe-Institut\’s FIRST FILMS FIRST in its 7th year and Mencej is an alumnus of our first generation.

Slovenia, spring of 1999. Two friends from a small village decide to transform their mopeds into choppers and embark on a journey. Looking for freedom and love, they travel through dreams of the past and visions of the future.
Riders is produced by Staragara (Slovenia) and co-produced by Antitalent (Croatia), Sense Production (Serbia), Transmedia (Italy), Novi Film (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Nuframe (Slovenia).
