ZUHAL has just scored a world sales deal with the UK-based Film Republic a day before its international premiere.
Nazlı Elif Durlu\’s debut feature ZUHAL will have the international premiere tonight (Nov.24th, Wednesday ) at 21h in Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival\’s First Feature Competition.
The film has been developed via Goethe-Institut\’s FIRST FILMS FIRST training program and produced by Anna Maria Aslanoğlu of istos film (TR).
Turkey-Germany co-production film had the world premiere in Antalya Golden Orange FF where the lead actress Nihal Yalçın has received the Best Actress award.
Zuhal is an upper-middle-class woman with a nice job, a nice house, and a long-term relationship in Istanbul. Her ordinary life, which is spent with daily troubles, business rushes, phone calls with her lover on the road, changes when she hears a cat meowing one night.
