INVENTORY by Darko Sinko starts shooting!

We are extremely excited and proud to announce that feature film INVENTORY by Darko Sinko has started shooting in Slovenia!

The film tells a story about an ordinary man who suddenly gets shot through the window in his own house. As police is convinced that the shooting was a mere coincidence, he starts investigating on his own, tragicomically discovering that more people hate him than he would ever have thought possible and that the perceptions that he has of his own life are nothing but illusions.

“My goal was to make it entertaining as well” said the director. “Loneliness, the search for love, fear, paranoia, doubt, and the relativisation of our conceptions about life – they form the thematic core of the film. What I wanted, though, was to elaborate on these “heavy” themes in an amusing and ironic tone.”

The film is produced by Vlado Bulajić and Lija Pogačnik of the production company December from Ljubljana.  The project is financially supported by the Slovenian Film Centre, RTV Slovenija, Viba Film, Creative Europe – MEDIA and RE-ACT.

Main cast includes Radoš Bolčina, Mirel Knez, Dejan Spasić, Renato Jenček, Mojca Partljič, Žan Koprivnik, Janez Škof, Davor Janjić and Barbara Vidovič.

The shooting is to be concluded by the end of June 2019 and the film by the spring of 2020.

INVENTORY was developed through Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST program. More about the film you can find here.

Congrats to Darko and the whole crew! We can’t wait to see the film! Break a leg!
