FFF alumna Antoneta Alamat Kusijanović‘s Murina will be co-produced by the US company Sikelia Prods., run by Martin Scorsese, Variety reports.

Together with Rodrigo Teixeira’s RT Features, Sikelia Prods. will co-produce and finance two feature debuts: Murina and Port Authority by the US filmmaker Danielle Lessovitz.

“We created this venture with RT Features to amplify authentic and exciting new voices in cinema. Danielle and Antoneta fiercely embody that spirit through their singular visions,” said Scorsese and Emma Tillinger Koskoff to Variety. “We are thrilled to bring their impassioned stories to cinema lovers around the world.”

Texeira said: “Danielle and Antoneta are two of the most exciting emerging creatives we have come across and we look forward to the world discovering them as well.”

Murina will be co-produced by Zdenka Gold of Spiritus Movens and Daniel Pek of Antitalent (both companies are Croatian), Teixeira for RT Features, and Scorsese and Tillinger Koskoff for Sikelia. Endeavor Content is representing the worldwide rights.

Murina is expected to start shooting in Croatia in summer 2019.
