NIKOS LABÔT FINISHES SHOOTING HER JOB

The first of the First Films First projects has finished principal photography: Nikos Labôt\’s Her Job

The First Films First project Her Job by Nikos Labôt (hl: http://localhost:8888/nikos-labot/) finished shooting last week in Athens, and will soon go into post-production. The principal photography took 30 days in several Athens neighbourhoods, including Nikaia, Egaleo and Drapetsona, which all reflect the social class of the heroine Panagiota (played by Marisha Triantafyllidou).

Producer of the film Maria Drandaki says of the experience with FFF: “The program offers a warm and safe environment to develop a first feature film in the framework of a very demanding market. For Nikos and I, it was a wonderful chance to focus on different aspects of the film, from the script development to shooting test scenes to presenting the project at a co-production market. The project gained a lot of attention by the participation in the different workshops of FFF held in various regional events and festivals and gave us at the same time a valuable insight at the industry of the region.”

Her Job is a Greek-French-Serbian co-production by Drandaki (Homemade Films), Julie Paratian (Sister Productions) and Milan Stojanović (Sense Production). The film is supported by the Greek Film Centre, ERT SA, CNC, the Serbian Film Fund and Cineventure. It was developed with the support of the SEE Cinema Network and the world sales have been secured by French Jour2Fête.
