OPEN DOOR GOES TO CANNES

 

FFF alumnus Florenc Papas\’ film OPEN DOOR, which is near completion, will be presented to sales agents, distributors and programmers at the Cannes Film Festival\’s Marché du Film.

It is a part of the second edition of Thessaloniki Goes to Cannes, a collaboration of Thessaloniki Film Festival\’s industry section Agora, the Greek Film Center, and Cannes Marché. Five works in progress will be showcased on May 14, during the Cannes Film Festival.

In addition to Open Door, the event will include Giorgos Panousopoulos\’s comedy In This Land Nobody Knew to Cry, Marianna Economou\’s documentary Seeds of Columbus, Steve Krikris\’ neo-noir The Waiter, and Dimitris Athiridis\’ documentary/mini-series Where Art Thou?

Greece is the only country in Southeastern Europe and the Balkans that participates in the Go Cannes programme.
