Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST training program alumna Selcen Ergun’s debut feature fiction project SNOW AND THE BEAR is a Turkey-Germany-Serbia co-production and one of the most travelled and supported debut projects in Europe.
The film is in the post-production phase and it is financially supported by Eurimages, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Development Support & Production Support; Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein Production Support, Film Center Serbia Co-production Support, Istanbul International Film Festival Meetings on the Bridge. SNOW AND THE BEAR is a favorite amongst the Work in Progress Sections as well. After being selected for Cinelink and Antalya Film Forum WIP platforms, project is now among the 7 projects taking part in Work in Progress section of Bosphorus Film Lab which is the industry platform of Bosphorus Film Festival taking place from October 23rd to 30th and running for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey award worth of 2700 Euro and a local distribution award by CGV Mars which is one of the biggest distributors in Turkey.
