SNOW AND THE BEAR receives WIP PRIZE of BOSPHORUS FILM LAB!

Selcen Ergun’s debut project SNOW AND THE BEAR which was developed via Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST training program kept receiving awards since the development and production phases including Eurimages Production support. 

Now, the project received the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism Special Prize in Work in Progress category of Bosphorus Film Lab which took place during Bosphorus Film Festival. Prize is the main prize of the section and it is a cash prize worth of 2700 Euro.

SNOW AND THE BEAR is about a newly appointed nurse in a small, snow-covered, boarder town where the winter surprisingly doesn’t come to an end… Rumours of bears rising early from winter-sleep spread around… A man goes missing one night.
