FANTASY by KUKLA questions the different gender identities in the patriarchal society at a moment when young women in their early twenties are just starting to explore sex. KUKLA is one of the six filmmakers selected for the Cannes Cinefondation Residency as well.
LITTLE TROUBLE GIRLS by Urska Djukic takes place in the early 2000s, a shy and sensitive 16-year-old Lucija spends her first year singing at the catholic high school choir navigating between the environment’s expectations and her budding curiosity in eroticism.
Urska Djukic has also been previously selected for Cannes Cinefondation Residence with this project.
