FFF’s BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS is the official Greek candidate for the Oscars!
Asimina Proedrou’s awarded debut BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS has been chosen to represent Greece at the 2024 Oscar race! We keep our fingers crossed for Asimina and her amazing cast and crew and couldn’t be more proud!!!!
Previously this month, BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS has been chosen by the European Film Academy among 19 candidates for the European Film Awards. The film has also won a fascinating 10 awards at the national Hellenic Film Academy Awards.
BEHIND THE HAYSTACKS was developed in the first generation of Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST program.
