Goethe-Institut’s First Films First training program’s third module of 4th generation is about to take off next week in Belgrade during Auteurs’ Film Festival which will take place from Nov. 22nd to 30th.

And North Macedonian director Milcho Manchevski from New York is back with us once again as a tutor.

Manchevski’s debut film Before the Rain won Golden Lion in Venice and was nominated for the Oscar. The New York Times included Before the Rain on its list of the best 1,000 films ever made. He directed 5 more feature films, one episode of Wire (arguably considered to be the best TV show ever made) and won MTV award for music video Tennessee for Arrested Development.

We are delighted to have him back and for more detailed info on Manchevski.
