Panagiota, a 37-year- old illiterate housewife, leads a quiet life with her husband and their children in a modest neighbourhood in Athens, Greece. To cope with the recession that has been affecting her family for some time, Panagiota for the first time in her life, finds a job as a cleaner in a shopping mall. Despite the ruthlessness of her work-environment, Panagiota breaks free from domestic monotony and gradually gains the respect she never had from her family. When a series of layoffs starts, she will have to face again her personal dead ends. But Panagiota is not the same anymore.

Nikos Labôt studied film direction in Athens, Greece. He has worked (as A.D.) on feature and short films, TV series and TV shows, both in Greece and France.

He has directed three short films, a creative documentary, music videos and theatre plays.

His last short film The Dog participated in numerous international film festivals and won many awards, including Finalist at the 8th Annual iP (indie Producer: Hollywood's #1 Networking Source) Short Film Contest (USA), Innovation Prize at the 16th Tetouan International Mediterranean Film Festival (Morocco), Special Prize at the 32th National Short Film Festival in Drama (Greece), Nominee for Best Short film Award by the Hellenic Film Academy (Greece), Official Selection of the 40th Kiev International Film Festival Molodist (Ukraine), Los Angeles Greek Film Festival 2011 in Short Film Competition (USA), Official Selection – International Film Festival Ostrava Kamera Oko (Czech Republic), etc. He has co-directed the theater play REPULSION_6 for the experimental music performance group Erasers. His feature documentary Τhe Immortals at  the Southern Point of Europe premiered at the 15th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival and had its international premiere at the 5th Annual Atlanta Philosophy Film Festival 2013. In March 2014, the film participated at the World Film Festival 2014, in Tartu (Estonia).
