PRODUCTION GRANT for FFF’s APOLLON BY DAY ATHENA BY NIGHT!

Directress Emine Yildirim’s debut has received a debut production grant from Turkish Ministry of Culture worth 58K Euro which is the only public film grant in the country. 

Congratulations!  Apollon By Day Athena By Night has been developed via Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST. The project was awarded in Antalya Film Forum, presented at Meetings On The Bridge and selected for Berlinale Script Station. 

”Asocial computer programmer Defne decides to take advantage of her gift/curse to search for her long dead mother in the ruins of the ancient Greco-Roman port town of Side (Antalya). In this journey, she struggles with human nature and finds herself in a shit storm of drama for both the dead and the living.”
