FCS Cinelink AWARD for FFF’s VANJA by ALEKSANDRA ODIC!

Cinelink Industry Days of Sarajevo Film Festival has wrapped up last week, and we are glad to share with you that a current participant of Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST programme, Aleksandra Odic received the Film Center Serbia award worth of 10.000 Euro with her debut project VANJA. 

She as well was a juror in the Student Films Competition of Sarajevo Film Festival.

‘VANJA lives in Germany. When her father who lives in Bosnia falls seriously ill, she sets off on a journey to her old homeland. They both get a chance for reconciliation.’

Aleksandra Odic recently received the Queer Palm and Light on Women Award in Cannes Film Festival with her latest short film that premiered in prestigious Directors’ Fortnight section.
