The feature film debut by Thanasis Neofotistos has been supported for production with the amount of 150,000 EUR. It combines coming-of-age gay love story with magic realism elements, Greek folklore and black humor. The project was developed during 2 nd edition of the Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST.
Previously, PETER AND THE WOLF got development funding from MEDIA – Creative Europe Programme.
It is produced by Ioanna Bolomyti of Argonauts Production S.A.
Thanasis’ short film PATISION AVENUE has been a festival hit for almost a year, starting from world premiere in Venice and winning 3 awards at prestigious Clermont Ferrand FF, among other awards. Congratulations for our dear Thanasis and Ioanna!!!
