4 PROJECTS OF FIRST FILMS FIRST PRESENTED @ ANTALYA FILM FORUM

This year, two participants and two alumni of Goethe-Institut’s FIRST FILMS FIRST training program are presenting their projects during Antalya Film Forum to the international industry and eligible for awards. The event took place online on Oct. 5th to 7th as part of the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.

Antalya Film Forum is a co-production market and project development platform that aims to support the development of the film industry, to expand co-production opportunities for Turkish projects to encourage networking between Turkish and foreign film industry.

SNOW and the BEAR directed by Selcen Ergun and  ZUHAL directed by FFF alumna Nazlı Elif Durlu are among the five films in Work in Progress Platform.

SNOW and The BEAR was awarded multiple times at various prominent co-production platforms and supported by EURIMAGES and production grants from Turkey, Hamburg, and Serbia.

ZUHAL which has been supported by Turkish-German Co-Production Development Fund and Film Independent (Fiscal Sponsor) was developed and presented in many prestigious workshops and platforms and now is in the post-production stage.

APOLLON BY DAY ATHENA BY NIGHT written and to be directed by FFF participant Emine Yıldırım is one of the 3 projects in Sümer Tilmaç Antalya Film Support Fund Pitching Platform which aims to support the projects which will be shot in the city of Antalya.

A DESERVED KISS wrote and to be directed by FFF participant Murat Uğurlu is one of the eight projects in Pitching For Feature Films in Development.  The project has already been presented in Cinelink 2020 as part of Sarajevo Talent’s Pack & Pitch projects and recently awarded the development award at Ankara Film Festival.
